An invitation to step away from your everyday life.... to slow down, have the opportunity to reconnect with parts of yourself that perhaps get lost or silenced in the everyday habits of your life.

This retreat is an invitation to step away from your everyday life.... to slow down, have the opportunity to reconnect with parts of yourself that perhaps get lost or silenced in the everyday habits of your life. The retreat is suitable for those completely new to retreating, those with experience are more than welcome to join too! Mindfulness meditation experience is recommended. Based on Vicky's personal retreat experience, which she has benefited from immensely over the years, you will be offered the chance to live and practice mindfulness in community, sharing periods of meditation, teaching and being in silence as well as the preparation of and eating meals together and the beautiful living space. There will also be pauses in the day for you to spend as you wish, reading, drinking tea, going for walks. There will also be the option to join a restorative yoga session. Spending time in this way can be a very beautiful, healing and rejuvenating experience and we are excited to offer you this retreat!

Mindfulness Meditation facilitator

Previously an Educational Psychologist, Vicky began her Mindfulness journey with an 8-week Mindfulness Meditation course whilst she was juggling her career and the needs of her two young children in 2011. With a daily meditation practice, Vicky's teaching comes from a place of authenticity and personal experience. During courses and retreats, the teaching is simple, often with a wee bit of humour and pauses to let information process.
